Artist's Comments

Well, after cleaning a bunch of things, I overlooked a few bellpeppers in the kitchen. Seeing one of them cut in half with the inside showing. I decided to take a picture of it.

Afterwards, I mentioned it to a person I've been talking to from #MFMetal. As I described it to her, she said. "Trying to do weston?" To which I replied, "Never heard of him."

So of course she told me to google Edward Weston, and in a sense...I feel I captured two of his concepts and combined them...and I never even heard of the guy until about 10 minutes of posting this.

Thanks ^opioid.

That reminds me: I need peppers for dinner tonight. :D

Awesome shot. Love the vibrancy of the pepper, against the stark background.
Great colour, really has your eye out. Would love to see a b/w version too!
