dACipher: Your Circle of Growth

DACipher can help you answer some of those questions.

What is DACipher?  

DACipher is a group made by artists for artists... and everyone who wishes to be an artist.
For every artist looking to find their artistic calling and/or achieve knowledge about styles and techniques in their art form, we've created a venue for that to happen.

DACipher isn't simply a tutorial site for members to look through.
We're a circle of people who teach and share with anyone who wants to learn and receive.
Following the proverb "Each One, Teach One" we work with our credo in mind:

"You've got your older, more experienced people who can display their expert talents with confidence. You've got the intermediates who have some skill and are trying to get better, but more importantly, you have the beginners. The guys and girls watching further back, impressed with the people inside the circle and wanting to do what they do.

This group is like the the expert taking you in and saying 'You like this? That's awesome. Want to do this yourself? I can teach you how.'"

Started seven months ago, DACipher hopes to help create positive development in DeviantArt as a whole through it's most important element: you, the deviant. Providing a closer and more personal form of teaching artists of their chosen craft. We work to remove the fear that skilled artists are unapproachable and won't want to talk to artists who are just getting their start. By gathering the experts and intermediates and bringing them to you, the artists who are new or are just wanting to advance their abilities, this group disregards the barriers between artists of varying skills.


In the upcoming months ahead, we will have major lessons from our Heads (Co-Founders) and smaller tips, tricks and minor lessons from our contributors. We will also start building the foundation/design for the official #dACipher chat which will increase the personal level between the deviants who are teaching and the deviants who are learning.



Important: DACipher is in need of Heads (Co-Founders) and Contributors to create lessons and tips for various art forms necessary. High/Moderately High degree of experience and skill is required, Educational background is a plus, but not strictly necessary. We're hoping to have full staff and more in the coming months.
